Alain,
I have not seen this issue in Sequoia on two different machines and historically or on the current version (which is far more recent, from the version you use). The last Beta version would be appropriate for you to try, 2.0(r6265b). May I recommend that one?
In addition, suggest you try r6276, the current version to see if it happens there in your Sequoia OS.
Possible some OS updates or some MM Setting have changed in Sequoia?
Have you tried the same on an alternate User account log in on the same machine?
On a Restart or Shutdown+restart?
