[MlMt] MailMate doesn’t seem to purge deleted/moved messages from the IMAP server

I’m having an issue which has been around for several months now. I do most of my email in MailMate on my Mac. But I do also check my email on my phone. However, messages that I’ve deleted or moved from my Inbox on MailMate continue to show up on my phone’s email Inbox. I use Preside on my phone, but I’ve checked with both Apple Mail and my server’s webmail (on my Mac) and they all show the messages which have been deleted/moved in MailMate.

It feels like MailMate is somehow flagging messages I remove from my Inbox but not actually asking the server to delete them. So MailMate ‘knows’ not to show them but all other mail clients still see and display the messages. It makes trying to work with email on my phone nearly impossible.

Is anyone else seeing this? I know it hasn’t always been a problem for me but I also know it’s been an issue for me for several months at least now.
