[MlMt] Date format?

FWIW, my settings are similar to John’s depending on width of the 
column and notably, the TOD settings and font size of the message 
window:
DATE format for the width. The current version of MM upon which the 
corrections made the the developer depend will also lay a part.

I think Benny has addressed this problem pretty well up through 1.14 
Experimental v6030.
