What do you mean by *do something with similar messages*?

I have many smart mailboxes with quite complex filter rules.

How can I find out if I'm using *similar messages*? Searching *similar* in the file *~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Mailboxes.plist* didn't show any hits.
