I think this is a difference between the normal/beta releases (fixed
header panel) and the latest test release (scrolling header panel).

Benny suggested that folks running Big Sur use the latest test release
because it fixed some issues, but it also has the shiny new message view
that’s purportedly not quite ready for prime time. (It seems strictly
superior to me, and fixes the longstanding main thread hang when
switching from plain text to markdown, whoopee!)

As of right now, the available releases are:

- Normal release: 5673
- Beta release: 5673
- Test release: 5757

Test releases can be had by option-clicking the “Check Now” button
in the software update tab of the prefs.

Release notes can be found at:

- Normal releases: https://updates.mailmate-app.com/release_notes
- Beta releases: https://updates.mailmate-app.com/beta_release_notes
- Test releases: https://updates.mailmate-app.com/test_release_notes

Hope this helps,
