[MlMt] Prospective user: Possible to use MM in separate window mode?

Hmmm, not for me.

Two pane gives me left pane of mailboxes, and right pane of messages.

OP wanted just messages and the present message (I think).  Three pane, 
then hide mailboxes gives you that.
