Strange MailMate Trivia:

If you create the Resources/MmMessagesOutlineView/ subdirectory but then 
accidentally put your custom outlineColumns.plist in Resources/, it has 
an effect on the message list display but not the right effect. It is 
possible to bang one's head against this issue for hours without seeing 
the real problem.
