[MlMt] Any Other OS 10.9 (Mavericks) Users Here?

I'm having some problems with recent versions of MailMate (both 1.9 and
the 2.0 beta) running on OS 10.9, and I'm wondering if it's just me, or
...?

I'm currently running MailMate Version 2.0BETA (6032).

This note was prompted by the notifications of new email (displayed by
the Notification Center in the upper right corner of the screen) ceasing
to appear. I still do receive the alert sound, but that's it. They
were working, and for quite some time (days) after I installed MailMate
2.0. This could be an Apple bug - I'm not using notifications for
anything else, so it's hard to be sure what exactly has died.
Relaunching MailMate did not fix it.

I'm also having a problem with MailMate not remembering its previous
configuration when I launch it. Nothing at all comes up, beyond the
items in the Apple Menu Bar at the top of the screen. I have to then
click on the File menu, and select New Viewer Window. Then to the View
Menu, unselect Organize by Thread, then select Hide Message View. Then
for the MAILBOXES and SOURCES on the left side of the MailMate window, I
have to click on some disclosure triangles to see the folders inside
certain items. All this was (up until around MailMate Release 5142 or
perhaps a few versions later) not a problem, at all. Yes, it's been a
while, and yes, it occurs with MailMate V1.9, too.

And then, with the 2.0BETA version, after doing all this I also have to
manually sync the IMAP account to get it started (File -> Synchronize ->
MIX..). After that, it stays connected and most everything seems to
function ok.
Looking in the Activity Viewer no idle connections are shown until after
manually initiating sync. MailMate V1.9 does not have this problem.
Yes, I know MailMate's networking code has changed.

I may be the only person still on OS 10.9, but I'm not able to leave it
due to software I have to run for my work. I must say Apple's OS
'improvements' at the expense of backward compatibility are a bit
annoying, but not (yet) so much so that I'd buy another computer just to
keep up with them. And then, I also still have two OS 10.3.9 systems
running due to yet more software, and hardware, that I can't update.....
Desk space is already quite tight, heh.

So.. Thanks a lot to anyone who can contribute any clues here.

And, Benny, pardon my asking in the list about this now, and please
continue to enjoy your vacation.
