[MlMt] spacebar: scroll message, or toggle headers?

I'm confused by the behavior of the tab key. If the focus is on the
mailbox list and I hit "tab," I get the focus on the message list. But
if I use a keyboard shortcut to switch mailboxes and then hit "tab," I
end up in the new search bar.
