[MlMt] What is the recommended release to run evryday and why does the update button doesn't seem to work?

From memory, I think there used to be an option for "test" releases. This got really confusing, which is why it was removed.

I think I got my first release of the 7000 series straight from the download page:

As always, though most of us have had no problems with any of these releases, make sure you have an idea of how you might recover from a crash before you install one.
