Hi David,

I have tried both of the options under "Apply rules" ("selected messages" and "all messages"), and they seem to do nothing at all. No messages get moved.

Well, without looking at your system, we can't really tell: it may be how you're holding it! ;-)

I have something similar for an Exchange account and it's working fine: it moves all the monitoring mails we get from various systems to another folder and marks them as read. This is the basic setup:

Conditions:
Any of the following:
From "is" "<veeam at example.com>"

Actions:
Move to Mailbox Account > Inbox > Monitoring
Set Tag/Keyword "Seen (Read)"

I also have a rule on the Monitoring folder that delete permanently mail that is not from within the last 30 days – this option becomes available if you do not select any part of the date.

Credit to Bill Cole for the initial idea, especially that it sometimes better to create a virtual mailbox and add actions to it.
