Good Morning,

You may be interested in using MM and Apple Intelligence without leaving
the MM Compose Window.

I found this snippet on using this new feature in an AI overview, about
using OpenAI integration inside MacOS Sequoia and later, within any app.

It seems to work speedily and quite well for me in MM’s most current
version. Step-by-step, here it is:
***
To apply Apple Intelligence to selected text in Apple Mail, you first
select the text you want to modify. Then, you can access the Writing
Tools through various methods, such as Control-clicking (or
right-clicking) the text, using the "Show Writing Tools" option, or
utilizing the toolbar button. From there, you can choose from options
like "Proofread", "Rewrite", "Make Friendly", "Make Professional", or
"Make Concise".

Steps to apply Apple Intelligence in Mail:
1. Select the text. Highlight the specific text within your email that
you want to refine.
2. Access Writing Tools. Control-click (or right-click): Right-click or
Control-click the selected text, then navigate to "Writing Tools".
3. Show Writing Tools. Choose "Show Writing Tools" to display the
options in a separate window.
Toolbar Button: In some apps, like Notes and Mail, you can click the
button in the toolbar or a dedicated Apple Intelligence button to access
the tools.
4. Choose a Tool. Select the desired Apple Intelligence tool, such as
"Proofread", "Rewrite", "Make Friendly", "Make Professional", or "Make
Concise".
5. Review and Refine. Apple Intelligence will process the text and offer
suggestions. You can then review the changes, accept, or revert to the
original text.
5. Done? Once you're satisfied with the changes, click "Done" to apply
the modifications.

NB: Apple Intelligence features and their availability may vary based on
your device's operating system and language settings, according to Apple
Support and OpenAI. Some apps may not have all the available tools.

Respectfully,

Henry Seiden
