Does anyone have a good method for a tag being applied to all messages in a thread when I apply it to one message in the thread? This would include responses getting tagged to match the tag I apply to Sent emails. I feel like there must be a way to do this with mailbox rules or Smart Mailboxes or both, but I can’t quite wrap my head around it.
Hi Rochelle,
welcome to MailMate. I'm not sure I really understand what you want to do but it sounds a bit like classification and possibly workflow. MailMate is really flexible and powerful but it may take a while get used to how it works. One key thing aspect is that it relies on queries or views to find relevant e-mails and rules to apply actions on these. So, you might want to create a view that looks for e-mails that reply to e-mail you sent with a specific tag. You could then create a rule that applies that tag to such e-mails.
But it might be easier if you provide an example.
