[MlMt] Lack of Public Updates

A question that is asked and discussed constantly on the /r/MacApps subreddit is which email client a Mac user should use (or its cousin, "which is the best Mac email client"). I always advocate for MailMate, but frequently people will respond that the application has not been updated recently or mistakenly claim it is no longer supported. Being a member of this mailing list, I know neither of these things are true - and I point that out. However, it does bring up the question why there isn't more frequent public releases. The latest Release Notes entry is from September 2020, which if I were a person researching email clients, would make me wary of trying MailMate.
