Randy,
Here are my notes gathered from MM’s Help or User Manual regarding
Settings files. To copy your settings to another computer (or replace
missing files), you need these files (depending on version, reverting to
what you have customized):
* /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/MailMate/*.plist
(Identities, Mailboxes, Sources, Submission)
* /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Resources/ <-
not there in 5870+
* /Users/<username>/Library/Application
Support/MailMate/Managed/Bundles/ <- not in 5878+
* /Users/<username>/Library/Application
Support/MailMate/Managed/LocalIndex.plist
* /Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/com.freron.MailMate.plist
Note that the last file also contains most of what you have changed in
MailMate preferences or have changed using the defaults command. You can
only copy this file before launching MailMate on the destination
machine. Otherwise, you might have problems with the file being
overwritten by an older version cached by the system.
You can substitute *~/Library/* for the leading relative path in the
above, if logged into your user account in Terminal. I do not have the
info on which specific files contain the data you’re looking for
(conditions), but pretty sure one of these does.
Some were consolidated in later versions of software as noted. YMMV
depending on which version you run. Don’t forget to quit M-M before
making changes. Backing up the current and changed versions is a good
idea before restarting the app. Good luck!
Respectfully,
Henry Seiden
