[MlMt] moving my mail from one server to another—will my IMAP mailboxes & their contents survive the move?

Thanks so much to each of you—Bill, Antonio, Henry, Verdon, & 
Patrik—for your invaluable help.  I learned something from each of 
you.

I’m making an unwanted (but necessary to cut expenses) move from the 
excellent Liquid Web to Go Daddy.  Wish I were competent to do the move 
myself but a man’s gotta know his limitations, as Dirty Harry said, so 
I’m going to let Go Daddy move my websites & mail to a dedicated 
server that they’ll provide and manage.

I plan to look into Dovecot and imapsync after the move so that maybe 
next time I can do the move myself.

Thank you all again.  This list is such a great resource.
