[MlMt] Sign/encrypt indicators in 1.14

I have trouble discerning whether the checkmark (sign) and padlock 
(encrypt) are gray or blue. The padlock is more apparent because it 
consists of two different images, locked and unlocked. I can think of 
several ways to make these easier to see:

1. Enlarge that whole bar. Is that user-configurable?
2. Use two images for signing (like the padlock) instead of just the one 
checkmark.
3. Thicken the line used to draw the icons so more color is visible.

There are probably others.

Btw, is it possible to configure a key binding to turn signing and 
encrypting on and off?
