[MlMt] can send mail but new mail doesn't download into inbox

Thanks so much! I've shut off the other mail clients until this
problem can be solved.
As you suggested, I used the "take account online" function, which
turned the source account back from red to black, and all the folders
underneath back to black from gray. (Thanks, again!)
However, though I can still send, the inbox does not download incoming
mail.
And as the source account was trying to refresh, the following message
popped up:
[begin pop-up]
IMAP problem for "ken at kenpope.com" account
MailMate encountered the following error: "Warning: Non-standard
response treated like NO (response: "Disconnected for inactivity.",
command: "").".
Mailbox: "INBOX/Sent".
Retry Take Account Offline Try Later
[end pop-up]
Any further steps I could take to solve the problem?
