[MlMt] 2nd instance of MaiMate

I thought Marc wanted both instances running simultaneously (for
example, one could be an active client applying rules and managing
things more or less autonomously, while the other is used interactively
for handling specific messages.) To run multiple instances at the same
time, I think a VM or separate machine or different user would work. To
run different instances serially (only one at a time), moving files back
and forth via a script would work (Years back, I used a script that
triggered when I switched Location, that killed the Retrospect daemon,
renamed the active Retrospect configuration file to a specific name
based on where it had come from, then renamed a Location-specific
version of the Retrospect configuration file to be the active one. It
used extended file attributes to mark each file with the name of
Location it went with. That way, when I moved my laptop between home
and work, the correct Retrospect configuration was active.)
