[MlMt] SpamSieve Train mailboxes are not cleaned up

I run a drone SpamSieve, utilizing Mail.app, on a remote Mac (rather
than having my entire family run SpamSieve). When I move messages on my
local client (using MailMate) into Train[Good|Spam], those messages
eventually get moved to INBOX or wherever my Rules ultimately filter
them (for TrainGood). They are also marked UNread (via a custom
keybinding), so that I know that I still have to deal with them.

The problem is: the messages also remain in the Train[Good|Spam]
mailboxes, which is a pain, because being UNread, they appear in my
Unread Smart Mailboxes list. And even though I've dealt with the
trained messages in their final destination, the messages in
Train[Good|Spam] will remain there for as long as I'm willing to simply
overlook their presence. But eventually my OCD gets to the point where
I must deal with it. Once I open the Train[Good|Spam] mailbox, I see
all those message still with blue dots; it is not until I explicitly
select a given message, however, that its dot turns red. But, once I
select *any* message, then a few seconds later (time varies from just a
few seconds to perhaps 20 or so seconds) *all* the messages go away, as
expected since they really no longer live in that mailbox (except, only
sometimes, the one message I have selected, which I must remove
manually).

MailMate *is* subscribed to the Train[Good|Spam] mailboxes, so am I
wrong in assuming that it should automatically handle cleaning them up
after SpamSieve has done its thing on the remote machine?

Thanks.
