Yes, I think so. Only use tags when you want to tag something which has 
its primary location elsewhere. If I understand SaneBox correctly then 
the Sane-mailboxes are real mailboxes in the sense that an email is only 
in 1 of them at any given time. You can use ⌥⌘T in MailMate to 
easily move emails into these mailboxes.
