[MlMt] 1000s of Messages not being downloaded my MM!?

Thanks for the suggestions.
"mailbox" refers to a folder, an IMAP mailbox which shows in my MM
Sources list. It is called zNewsletter. The mail server is a Microsoft
Exchange system.
I make little use of Gmail; except for forwarding (see below).

the mailbox outline (no greyed out mailbox names or persistent
spinners).
There are no problems visible. I also ran /File/Synchronize for my IMAP
account.

Here are some of the senders of messages that are showing up on the
server, but not in MailMate. As shown by OutlookWeb App.

International Atlantic Economic Society [operations at iaes.org]
5.11 Tactical [no-reply=511tactical.com at email.511tactical.com]
The Mercury News [e-news at newsletters.mercurynews.com]
noreply+feedproxy at google.com
all-official-l-bounces at announce.ucsd.edu on behalf of xxx
UberEATS San Diego [email at et.uber.com]

All of these messages are coming in to my main account at UCSD,
rbohn at ucsd.edu. Some of them get there after having been forwarded from
other addresses, including a gmail address that I use for junk.

Today, for example, the server shows 40 messages in zNewsletter. MM
shows has about 12 of them.
More advice?
Roger

By mailbox do you then mean an IMAP mailbox within an IMAP account or do
you mean the IMAP account itself.

In the latter case, you might need to subscribe to “[Gmail]/All
Mail” via “Edit Subscriptions” in the IMAP account editor. This
does not happen by default since then MailMate has to spend additional
time keeping it synchronized (which is tricky due to its very
non-standard behavior).

I would certainly prefer that we find out what makes it fail.

Make sure everything appears online and synchronized under SOURCES in
the mailbox outline (no greyed out mailbox names or persistent
spinners).
