Yeah, completely understood... I am lucky then to be able to create virtual mailboxes including other virtual mailboxes so I do not have to "go through" more than a few... Three in fact... When I read and deal with mail. The rest (including what you talk about -- find what I discussed with a person) I do via search.

But I do, let me say that explicitly, understand your situation.
