Only the first two tabs are needed, the other two are optional.

Mailboxes: In what mailbox(s) do you want to search. In most cases it 
will be "All messages"

Conditions: This is the search(es) you want to do. I have e.g. a few 
that search for Any Address > Domain is "example.com". This will create 
a smart folder that shows all mails to and from the domain 
"example.com".
