[MlMt] Opening Gmail's web interface marks all messages as read?

Just to make it clear: I *didn't* mark anything as read in the web UI. 
They were spontaneously marked as read (we're talking thousands of 
messages).

I'll try to reproduce the issue and let you know if I can do it…
