Then it sounds like a different issue. I have a (vague) recollection of 
iOS Mail not always being able to show forwarded emails (forwarded as 
attachments). I don't think I ever found out why that failed. It does 
not fail with Mail on OS X. Could this be the problem you are seeing? If 
not, what is the receiving email client?

(I think I am able to reproduce that problem on my iPhone, an old one 
with iOS 5, but I'm not sure if it's also a problem with never iOS 
versions.)
