There might be a delay if your disk is busy, but I guess that shouldn't 
happen that often. If you can catch a delay with a sample then it would 
be useful:

	sample MailMate 2 -file ~/Desktop/sample_mailmate.txt

The crashes are probably a different issue. I'll be very interested if 
you find steps to reproduce it.
