[MlMt] Working with thread arcs

As I get more acquainted with MailMate and settle down into my ways of 
doing things, my messages will likely decrease. Until then, my 
apologies.... :)

I was just going through a discussion list and wanted to expand a 
thread.  I saw no options to collapse/expand threads.  This lead to the 
Thread Arcs layout option.  I see that it gives a general layout of the 
thread and that I can bring up the message corresponding to a node by 
clicking on the node.

Is it only me, or is clicking on a node finicky at times.  If my mouse 
pointer is directly over the node, quite often, nothing happens when I 
click.  But then, I've noted that the node will change colour when it 
registers the hovering of the mouse pointer.  If I click at that point, 
then the message is selected.  If the thread is long and the arc 
congested with nodes, it can be tricky at times to get a particular node 
to change colour before clicking.

I'm using a MacBook Pro retina and this could well have something to do 
with it.

Though the Thread Arcs view is novel an nifty, it doesn't fully replace 
the expand/collapse thread option for me.  It does however add to the 
functionality of the app.
