I guess MailMate could try to verify that all URL schemes are enabled
when MailMate is configured as the default email application.

I recently changed the default to top posting, because I often get
feedback emails from users who do not like bottom posting (which I
prefer). The global default can be set in the Signatures preferences
pane (⌘,), but MailMate should also learn your preference if you use
the Signature menu in the composer to change it.

The long term plan is to replace the current headers view with a
Webview. This should also make the text selectable. Until then your only
option is to right-click a header and use “Copy” to put it on the
pasteboard.
