There is diverse, longstanding, and widespread disagreement (even 
discord) on the Reply-To manipulation issue among cranky old mail geeks. 
The people leading GNU Mailman development have historically taken the 
stance that list software should not add a Reply-To header and the 
switch to do so which exists in Mailman operates absolutely, as if it is 
intended to demonstrate bad side-effects. There is no nuanced handling 
in Mailman and probably won't ever be.
