[MlMt] formatting "date received" in message list?

Hello All,

<tl:dr> is it possible to manually set the format of the "date received" column in the message list?

I would like to remove the time; setting it to just "YY-MMMM-DD".  If I shrink the column, the time remains and the date slowly goes away.  Checking the settings there seem to only be a couple options related to which end the day sits on.  Looking in the hidden preferences does not yield any obvious results but I do not know what I am might be missing.

I prefer to have my list as un-cluttered as possible and I never use the received time for anything.
