It's been awhile since I've added new Rules for sorting within MailMate, and I believe the UI may have changed in the interim, so my apologies in advance if I'm simply overlooking something. I'm using MailMate version 2.0 (6291). I use Rules to add Tags to particular messages as they arrive, usually based on text in the email subject field. A few Smart Mailboxes then display messages depending on which Tags have been assigned. Here's my issue: Today when I go to Mailbox > Edit Rules and click on the Rules icon in the upper-right corner of the window, I'm presented with a "Create Rule..." button, but don't see any of the previous Rules I've created. This is true regardless of which Mailbox or Source is selected in the lefthand menu. The Smart Mailbox settings are all present, just not the Rules. I know that the previous Rules I added are all still working, because my messages continue to get automatically tagged as they arrive. I discovered this while going to create a new rule, and I'm hesitant to add it for fear of overwriting the other (hidden) ones. Perhaps I've stumbled upon a bug, or something is corrupt in my local settings? Shouldn’t it “stick” to the zoom level I set before? It feels like a bug. Beware that if you don’t run as an admin (which I’d recommend for your day to day setup) the update will fail and the download silently discarded. The latest revision is r7030 (uploaded today). A difference between the r6xxx releases and the r7xxx releases is that the latter also gets updates on the beta/public “channels”. If you need larger fonts in general then you should use the minimum font size setting in the Viewer settings pane (for HTML messages). One way to easily re-test on an incoming message is to use “Message > Reset...”. Write me via “Help > Send Feedback” if you have a reproducible issue. Maybe also try the latest test release: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update settings pane. I guess I wasn’t sufficiently clear: I’d like the zoom to ***not*** be temporary but rather permanent, meaning not change when I switch messages. I actually want the text in the pane to be *smaller*, so when i set the zoom to 90% or 80% I want that zoom level to stay until I change it. Just as the font setting is permanent. The problem is that some html emails use a larger font than necessary and/or fix the width to a value wider than the pane. And I’m on a 13” MacBook Air and so I don’t have as much real estate as I used to.
