(I was referring to the drop-down options when writing at the top, next 
to Signature.)

Thanks everyone. As I suspected, it's an Outlook problem that I can't 
save others from having to deal with (they of course would simply say 
'can't you use Outlook?' at which point I start counting the days until 
I retire).
