Malcolm,
There is a process to move the setup files between machines described in the [MailMate Manual](https://manual.mailmate-app.com/rebuild) Rebuild Database Section, “How to transfer MailMate Settings to another computer”. I use this often to port my Settings (all of them) to an iCloud location, just in case.
Those files are generally the same between versions of the application and affect most all of your MailMate User Settings. The process is well described.
Other uses of these settings are in cases of System recovery on the same computer if no good backups are available and in troubleshooting cases.
Respectfully,
Henry Seiden
