[MlMt] Copying the "From" address

I see what you mean. The Copy Sender Addresses command captures the initially populated sender address, and doesn't pick up the revised address if you changed it in the new message.

Workaround would be to click the address in the From field, click Customize, and copy the address from the dialog box.
