It's not just you. That looks like a definite bug. (Present in current test release 6268)

I know of no definitive reference.
Specifically, "Source" is a MailMate constructed URL-like string that looks something like this:
imap://user@imap.host.name/toplevel-folder/more/path/elements/mailboxname
Empirically (based on what the Search interface shows I believe Source->Path is the part from the top-level folder down.
