Hi Oli,

Have you checked your MM Setting software the “Mark Messages as Read” setting? Please report what it is set to. The default is 0 (or was on a new installation). This setting is found in Menu>Settings>Viewer tab, about ⅔ of the way down the page.

Try adjusting it if it’s at 0 to some other value and check on an unread message to see if it’s working when that message is selected. All these settings are stored and should not change when you install new versions or releases until deleted. This is well described in Benny’s Help Menu and the full User Manual.

I also use a delayed incoming sound notification, but I digress.

In my installation I set the Mark Messages… to 120 sec. to allow for my SPAM drone machine to finish it’s filtering/moving and to allow me to leave it selected for two minutes while I decide whether to move it, otherwise. Among many of MM features, I find that setting quite useful. YMMV.

Respectfully,

Henry Seiden
