[MlMt] memory leak?

Has anyone notice that Mailmate memory usage keeps and keeps increasing?

I have version 6272.

Recently, macos (Monterey) reported that it is out of working memory and 
pointed out to Mailmate as the culprit. It indeed had over 23 GB of 
memory allocated. After restart, this dropped to just above 2 GB. After 
some time, it went up to almost 5 GB. Now is at above 8 GB. I restart 
very seldom but I have never seen this before, so it might be a new 
“feature” of a recent version. All Messages count is below 65k 
message (I used to have over 100k). I noticed also that after a while 
Mailmate pauses, like in spinning the pizza for some time, before its 
interface its active again. I wonder if there is a relation between the 
two.
