Is it true that this is still a problem after all these years? I interact with several computer novices who are using Outlook defaults. I can’t use MailMate to reply to any of them unless I hack up a copy/paste of the original message.

The messages are typically multipart mixed with the first part being base64 encoded HTML. When I try to reply, the quoted section appears as:

Is there any solution? Some plug-in that will translate to text?
