I'm afraid not. Technically, it's possible to implement a timeout, but it would of course be much better if these error messages did not block at all. They slowly creeped into the code because of workaround after workaround needed for all kinds of server issues/behavior. It was never the intended design.
The best I can offer you for now is to add a (temporary) hardcoded hidden setting to add a timeout to a specific warning. Send me the specific wording of the warning (off list) and I'll look into it.
