That is very strange... 2 wild theories:

1. The source used ⁄ or ∕ instead of /, and you were using some font 
without glyphs for those characters.

2. You have Apple's "Lockdown mode" enabled and it is intentionally 
breaking the process of one app sending an URL to another.
