Hey Tom,

For me, MM does an integral spell and grammar check as I type my message. Highlights the changes as well. Does this not work for you? I think it has been in place for some years!

In some cases I do find the as-you-go operation in MM a bit cumbersome so maybe this suggestion will spark a discussion here of options that could be implemented.
