Hey Vin,

I see you mentioned a post of mine in this issue. I had a slightly different problem at the time and since resolved, but on the same (“beta”) version of MM 2.0(r6272). You might want to be in touch on the feedback address as well [mm-feedback at freron.com](mailto:mm-feedback at freron.com).

Gmail accounts can be a bit quirky. I will make a few suggestions but you should rely on Benny for primary support on this issue. Will say that for my Gmail account has been running well pn this version and fully synching with my one remaining Gmail account. So has Apple Mail, BTW.

Have you tried and of these tests for:
- **Gmail Account(s) only**. Have you examined the Gmail account settings in MailMate IMAP settings? Gmail has undergone changes and uses OAuth2 now. Check to be sure your setting are current and allow MM to use Google Mail settings in this way. [See the Google support article on OAuth2](https://support.google.com/a/answer/14114704?hl=en). IMAP Settings should be set to use and recognize that setting.
- **OS issues**. Install MM on a test user, perhaps on a different volume on the same machine? That’s easier than you might think when copying your latest settings before MM app. Its purpose is to rule out OS and System changes on your production user machine without a re-installation of the (semi-)working system. I read that you are on MacOS 14.7.6 which, as you know, may have had recent upgrades.
- **Other users, same account**. Have you compared activity on Mac Mail app running on the same machine using the Gmail account in question?

Respectfully,

Henry Seiden

The latest test release should not crash when it happens, but the underlying issue is not fully resolved (it's related to a workaround for the All Mail folder in Gmail accounts). I *think* the change should trigger MailMate to resynchronize the mailbox, but it's hard to know since I have not been able to reproduce the issue.
