FWIW, I’ve been satisfied with my Google Android phone (a Pixel 7) and
Lenovo Android tablet. The crapware on both is minimal and the software
updates are high quality. I rarely have any real use for the Google app
store. I know it’s full of awful junk, but if I’m looking for an app
then I’m going straight to it without browsing. I’ve been using
AquaMail on my Android devices for years and it’s been good enough.
