I regularly sample iOS email clients but I haven’t found anything that has the few features I need (for me, being able to set a few tags that work with MM) and, as you say, that doesn’t involve a middleman service.

So far, I haven’t been able to find anything that works. Preside it is for me, even with all its issues.
