[MlMt] editing date display field in viewer columns?

Hello everyone,

Happy to be here.  I really enjoy the product, greatly.

Is it possible to edit how the date is displayed in the list columns of the message viewer?  Example "Dec-30 15:00" vs. "30 December  3:00 PM"?

I looked for somewhere this could be set but could not find anything; sorry if I missed it.   I like to be minimalistic and crunch down the columns that I do not use much.  Most of the time I do not care about the time of day or spelling out the day of the week.  (I understand many would be in different situations but I almost never get a same day response to any e-mail.)  Is it possible to set this or is it just something you just have to turn to the Apple API to decide on?

P.S. My version is 2.0 (6068).
