I'd prefer promising to be a lot better at reacting on pull requests.

This is what I did for the original hidden preferences page, but some 
options are not documented because it then also implicitly becomes a 
promise that it'll work forever -- or will work at all (they are often 
very experimental).

Quite a lot of the hidden preferences are not documented by purpose, but 
I do intend to repeat the process above -- maybe soon -- and at least 
before making 2.0 a public release.
