Yes, if you do not upgrade to 2.0 or later. (Well, it'll work anyways. The new licensing model is very liberal.)

Yes, there could be other things breaking it though, e.g., new authentication requirements from IMAP servers as seen in the past from Microsoft and Google.

Then you should also have a license key, but you can just write me via “Help > Send Feedback” and I'll locate it for you.
