[MlMt] How to reliably move incoming messages to separate mailboxes?

Hi Henry,
Basically my problem is that the rule that is supposed to assign the IMAP tag to the message AND to move that message to a specific mailbox works most of the time, but sometimes it only assigns the IMAP tag to the message and fails to move it. I don’t want to have to do anything manually to my messages all the time in order to get MailMate to colour them appropriately. I need this to be automatic and to work reliably.
I don’t need to colour the contents of messages. I just need to colour them in the message list. This can be done with the most recent version of MailMate by assigning a different colour to each email account, so that all messages can take on the colour of their parent account in the unified inbox, but this feature is not fine-grained enough for my needs, since I receive many messages to the same account that get assigned different IMAP tags by my rules based on their contents (keywords, sender, etc.) and therefore need to take on different colours based on their IMAP tag.
I am afraid I am not sure I understand what you are referring to with respect to SpamSieve. I use SpamSieve myself and, yes, I remember SpamSieve being able to assign different colours to junk messages based on their relative SpamSieve Score in ***macOS Mail***. But SpamSieve does not seem to have this ability in MailMate, as far as I can tell. In MailMate, in my Spam folder, all messages are black, regardless of their SpamSieve Score (or they have the colour that MY RULES assigned to them, in r5964, still supporting my Styles.plist colours). I am not going back to Mail instead of MailMate just in order to be able to use message colouring based on rules. (As far as I can recall, rules didn’t always work all that reliably in Mail anyway.) But I do want to try and achieve with the CURRENT version of MailMate something nearly identical to what I am currently able to achieve with r5964, which still supports my Styles.plist colours.
If this issue is not all that important to you, that’s fine. I don’t expect you to respond any further. But you did respond to my initial message, and so I am responding to your response.

SpamSieve uses the techniques of coloration to apply it to aspects of the email (subject) IN THE MESSAGE LIST. That coloration is NOT reflected in the same message and the same folder in MM however.

>> My impression is that this might be because the move action only works when messages actually “arrive” in the inbox, and I am assuming that this “arriving” state is not always detected because incoming messages might arrive in my inbox during a time when MailMate is NOT checking for new mail and one of my other devices (iPad, iPhone) IS checking for new mail, so that the arrival of these messages is not detected by MailMate. (I can “force” MailMate to move these missed messages to their destination by manually moving them to another box and then back to the inbox, but obviously I cannot keep doing this every time MM misses one.)
