Similar here, though in my case it's my backup machine. I've had a couple of hardware failures with Macs which have taken a couple of days to fix so a backup machine is unavoidable.

But I also think that Apple has a lot on its plate with the move to ARM combined with the needless toyification of MacOS, trying to make it more like IOS, because Apple seems to assume we all have I-Phones; we don't.

This reminds me of the move to OS X and Intel from System 9 and PowerPC and it took a lot of versions to iron out some fairly nasty bugs. And release quality seems to have gone downhill from there. The old mantra in software is wait for version 3 at least…
